Hell we don't even have those anymore up here in NW Oklahoma. I may have to take a trip to find this one.

I thought I was going to get tackled the last time I was in Jersey. I pulled up to pump and got out to pump my own gas not knowing that it was against the law. Attendant had a fit.

A few years back when I rode to Oregon on the relay the attendants let us pump our gas. I think maybe they were a bit afraid seeing Polo, Ronnie, Special Ed and I roll up and they just turn on the pumps for us.

Then again when we stopped for breakfast they closed off a section of the place for us and put wet floor signs all over the place. We musta looked pretty scary that day. I think we we wet enough that they could have used the water we carried in on us to make coffee for a month. So I can see where the gas attendants just turned on the pumps and stayed away. I imagine we looked pretty crabby too being that wet and cold.

Here in California, we don't have gas station "attendants" per se. I'm wondering of just having any gas station employee pump the gas would suffice?
