I am in need of new tires and spoke to a small shop near my house about mounting them. He does not have the capability to spin balance the wheels after the tires are mounted. Is this a big deal or not? Thanks.

I'm thinking that he can balance them, just not spin balance. I guess if the wheel is balanced, thats all that really matters.

It's best to get those tires balanced.

TATE,
DynaBeads are for tubless only aren't they?
Incorrect. They work on tube or tubeless.

Dyna Beads dynamically balance tires on the move, resulting in a smoother ride, and one that lasts the life of the tire.

Dyna Beads are small ceramic spheres, high in density and perfectly smooth, that travel inside the tire to locate themselves opposite heavy points to eliminate out-of-balance motion.

The result for your customer is not only a smoother ride, but a better look - Dyna Beads eliminate the need for spoke or stick-on weights applied to those beautiful alloys. They can be used with tubes or tubeless tires, and work for scooters as well.

Yes, balancing is a big deal. Much less vibration and much longer tire life.

No, don't put BB's in your handlebars OR your tires.
