Same thing happened to me. Somebody hit the "big red button"!
What just happened????
I was in the middle of replying to a post, then the screen went blank. Now it is coming up with an all new UI and nothing is in the same place? Whose bright idea was it to cut in a change in the middle of the day?

It was working well for me, so change for changes sake seems arbitrary, even capricious.
I liken it to the grocery store changing everything around so you have to see the stuff you do not care about buying. If I wanted it, I know where it is. But I can learn, if I have to.
Hopefully it will attract younger riders, I fall into a different category.
Guess I am not against it, just an old dog that has to learn new pathways.

We're a stubborn bunch. We don't take too kindly to sudden changes like this.

If there were notices of this change, I missed them.
If it was clear that the Classic Coke was still available, then I missed it until late in the day. If it was there first thing this AM, I missed it because I went looking for the "Classic" link.
To me the change is neither good nor bad. It changed once before and I survived. I come here because the friends I ride with are here and easy to find. Add too many layers, and we'll find other ways to ride together.
You can call us all the names you want, be the internet police, the team cheerleader. What names you call others I do not care about. If I don't like something, I'll let you know. If you want to call people cry babies for speaking their piece, well guess I protect that speech as well. Guess I have done my share of cheap shots as well. Guess we all need tougher skin.
Glad to see that we have an option to go back. That new one threw me I thought that I had gone to a site that wasn't this one. Logged out, tried again and got the same thing.
Quickly changed it back to classic, the new one is far too messy for me.Sorry guys. All that effort for not much appreciation.

Calling other members names just because they have an opinion which is in the the negative to the new site format is hardly progressive.
I logged on this morning to find the site was headed by a picture of a bloke in a jacket and helmet sat on some type of bike that was not at all relevant to this forum.
The thread titles had shrunk in size compared to what was there before and a large sidebar, that causes this obviously, was there.
I find that I cannot get rid of the sidebar. You may call me what you wish, but the viewing pleasure from my end has diminished this morning.
If the first thing that you see when logging on is the picture that I mentioned before then that does not indicate what the forum is about.

You've been here, what? A week? You have zero idea of what this site means to the people who have used it for years. Been through good times and bad, so seeing change any change seriously sucks and we don't like it. Many of us still remember sending PayPal payments to help fund the hosting and database maintenance, so we consider it to still be our site.Lord, what a bunch of cry-babies!
