okay newbie doin some winter fun here..I'm pulling off the tail light assembly in order to do a little work on it..add/swap new lights and stuff..now I got the seat off and I see where the light connects to the battery but uh..it seems to be attached to the fender with these little do hickey's! ?/ anyone know what they are and how they come off? cut em? pull em? leave em? I was just planning on unhooking the battery cable atatcment thing and slide it off but nooo couldn't be that easy lol. any thoughts are welcome! thanks ahead of time

That is a clamp that is glued to the body. you will have to undo it or cut it someway.

It is a factory wire tie, it is not glued, or shouldn't be. They have the, I guess you would call wings, on the back that have to be squeezed together for the tie to be removed. Or it can be released with a very small screwdriver inserted above the little tounge like tab sticking out. If you look at your arrow, you can see the flat part that latches it above the tab I referred to, insert small screwdriver in between the two.
