to be different,,,
You'd have to park your bike in neutral.
I don't think most people do that.
Don't want that puppy rolling away on a hill or if someone should bump it.
But yeah, do it, and make it start the bike whether it's in gear or not.
Make videos please. :)

I must say I do like my bike warmed up when I get in.
Oh, wait.

You going to leave the bike off the side stand while parked? Or bypass the automatic shut off that happens with the side stand down?

To make it work, the transmission would have to be left in neutral, the key switch would need to be bypassed, the clutch safety switch would have to be bypassed, the kickstand safety switch would have to be bypassed and you would have to leave the bike out with the choke full on when you park it.. There is no way to electronically modulate the throttle so you could press the "starter" all morning long and accomplish only draining your battery. Not only is it completely unnecessary, it is dangerous too.

I made one from scratch a long time ago for a Ninja I used to have. Haven’t made one for a cruiser yet. Most important detail is the neutral switch.
This is all probably a good thing.
I find the hardest part about riding is hitting the start switch.
