That I don't know as I've never run the motor with them out. All I know is that they were to loud for my liking so I installed Smartpartz Hard Kore Quiet Baffles. I think they will be plenty loud enough for you with the V&H baffles re-installed.
I'm putting the stock baffles in tomorrow. I can't get out the neighborhood without leveling houses. I've seen videos of folks wrapping baffles with fiberglass or some other white fabric. Is this necessary? Or can I insert the naked stock baffles directly into the pipes? I imagine I can, I just want to be sure they're not going to cause excessive heat build up and discolor the chrome.
V&H make a quiet baffle that has a the fiberglass wrapping around them, and a more restrictive end than normal baffles.
The normal baffles you have are basically straight thru with cuts in the pipe to disrupt the air flow.
I had straight shots one my honda aero, and same as you freakin loud without baffles, the quiet baffles made a big difference.

Hello I'm new to this, I bought a 2006 Suzuki Boulevard C50 a few years ago and it came with some Cobra exhaust. Now I'm switching to HK 2 into 1 Sideburner and don't know if I need to remap my power commander 3 that came with my C50?
I noticed when I have around .4 of a gallon the motor starts to hesitate during acceleration. Also the motor will shut off during idle even though I can restart it. This is my first fi bike, can the hesitation be attributed to the fuel sloshing around and air being sucked into the fuel pump?
I see on a previous post about plugging the air jet. Question is which one is it and do I need to do it with my setup. Cobra Drags, carb mounted air filter and Dynojet kit installed.
Reason I ask is I have never been happy with my setup. If I run with full air flow through the filter I get...
