What's up with that when I click on a thread and the upstream connection error message shows.?

I've been also getting Site Maintenance messages where I can't connect with my phone during the day.

I was getting the same.
And then pic problems that seemed to correct themselves.

I don't know, I belong to a myriad of chat boards, and none seem to have any of the problems that this place continuously has.

I've got 250 mb of speed now and I wait for things to load. It's not as bad as dialup but......

I'm back to posting and then hitting the back button instead of waiting for my post to load. I used to do that a few years back with Verticalscope and dialup as well. It's deja vu but not in a good way. I always said life is too short for a slow computer so I kept upgrading. I just got a new one for Christmas but this is a reality check for sure.
