I have a 2001 volusia 800 with the wire spoked wheels. Is there a way to run tubeless tires on this motorcycle without changing the wheels? Are tubeless tires that much better in the event of a puncture and possible blowout?
Thanks guys!

If it could be done I'd imagine sealing all the holes where the spoke go thru wheel would be quite cost prohibitive.

This topic has been discussed many times. The short answer is it's not worth the cost or effort. There are tubeless rims on a few older models of the C50.

You gain nothing by spending the.money, time and hassle by swapping to tubeless tires. Just ride the bike and enjoy it.
