You can drag and drop, or insert a .gif into any forum.
You cannot post pics in the clubhouse, except for the current event forum.

3rd party hosting works in any forum.

Plausible conclusion: The owners don't want to allow pics in off topic areas.

I tried pretty much the same pics and gifs in each test.

Sure takes the fun out of the playground. I know! Let's turn the HELP section into the new social distancing playground! :D
Cricket doesn't respond anyway when we do ask for help so let's put it to good use ;)

Maybe we should make the help forum 100% totally NSFW!
Or maybe not safe for anyone! ;)
Would anyone really care?

Maybe they're trying to deter the Green Sneakers threads? ?‍♂

Could be why Cricket never told us what the problem was. Maybe she was a bit embarrassed about it.

We had a similar problem with the old forum format.
I'm going with my original theory:
They'll pay for the hosting of pics in the bike related forums, but refuse to pay for the storage of drivel, boobs, and unrelated material that has nothing to do with personal stuff or bikes.

Well, there's one problem with that theory. The images are actually there, they just don't show. If you go back and edit the post, you'll see the image attached to it.

Right, I noticed that too. Any IT people here that can relay (in their special lingo of course politically correct and all) to the invisible one how to fix this problem?

This website was always, no matter who owned it, designed to be family and children friendly. When you go on a more grownup forum like HD Forums you can post revealing pics. Probably the difference between a beginner bike and an adult bike. Baby steps........

Like if you think about it it's a good thing over the years there's been some people here with a good sense of humor as well as stirring the pot occasionally or this place would flat out be a real fukking drag.
