Home Depot has light absorbing paint, used for borders of wall screens for projection TV's.
I'm going to get some and put in on the lower flange of my gas tank to see if it helps it disappear.
I know the flange doesn't bother most of you, and others highlight it with chrome strips, but I personally don't care for it, especially when the light hits it and makes it stand out more that the beautiful shape of the tank.
If anyone's interested in this, I'll post pics when I get it done so you can give your feedback.
