For those wanting better brake options and better power , I have been working on a kit for M50s (soon C50s etc) and I'm now doing testing on it finally. Its overbuilt vs the OEM bracket etc , bolts will be double the tear strength rating. Complete guide will be included with info such as master cylinder upgrade, where to find the calipers, brake pad options (lots!) and even part #s for rebuilding the caliper (OEM parts of course). Mine is based on the 4 piston Nissin caliper but I will be doing one for the Tokico (common from the GSXRs) and the infamous Brembo P - Series as well. The main bracket is 1018 Steel and has been water jet cut. This leaves no sharp edges etc and a nicer finish. The bracket will be powder coated or left raw depending on who wants what. I'm trying to keep the kit affordable!

I applaud your ingenuity but can I ask what you intend to sell this for in the retail market? Leaving it to the end user to source their own calipers, hoses and such is going to limit the interest in your products. You would be better served to package the upgrade as a kit. Yes, it is going to be expensive.

Trying to keep it around 40-50 USD. The distributor will keep the shipping low as the package is small. (Within the US that is). The instructions included will make it very easy to find the right caliper(s) as I will have tested all 3 I think are most common. Nissin, Tokico and Brembo. You can use your existing rubber brake line or aftermarket steel braided etc. Pad options will also be in the instructions.

That looks real good I would like to ask you a question I swapped out the front forks and wheel off a Kimco venox onto a Kawasaki Vulcan so I would have the mag wheels but now I can’t figure out why I can’t get the front brake to work quite properly it will stop but it doesn’t stop as good as it should I’m thinking maybe that I don’t have the caliper lined up properly what are your thoughts on the subject i’m still using the Vulcan master cylinder but the complete Kimco caliper on the wheel could it be as simple as I need to put the Kimco master cylinder on with the Kimco caliper would appreciate any thoughts on the subject thank you

Correct, the Kymco's master cylinder has the volume for 2 pistons and not 1 like on the Vulcan 500. I assume EN500 as you said spokes, although the 900 Classic is spoked as well but a dual piston caliper like the Venox. The pistons on the 900 Vulcans would have greater volume (as they are large) than the Kymco. So in short you need a different master. I would bet that the Vulcan 900 series master might swap over although the bars are most likely 1 inch and not 7/8ths like the EN500.
