My 05 Volusha is stuck in 1st gear . Been garaged for a year, but been started and rode back in the garage in 1st and I put in nutrel . This time it stuck in 1st and can’t get back in N

Try rocking it back and forth a bit. The transmission can sometimes get stuck when trying to shift without motion. Also check the linkage between the shift lever and the transmission. There's a Jesus clip on there that can pop off.

Tried that, could you elaborate more on this “Jesus clip “ ?

Most people call them an e-ring. We called them Jesus clips in the military because that's what you say after popping one off and watching it fly into a hole you're going to have to dig it out of.
