Maybe a dumb question. Maybe not. I have Cobra Streetrods on my C50. Would like to reduce vibration because it makes my vision shake. I have an inner ear issue. Even my own voice can make my vision jump around. And maybe everyone's vision shakes while riding, I dunno.

Anyway, the guy at the dealership says putting stock pipes back on it will NOT help the vibration issue. A friend of mine says it WILL help with the vibration.

Anyone?

Is it the Frequency or the volume that bothers you?

cobra and such are louder pipes and the stock is alot quieter in volume.

If it the tone then maybe something other than cobra pipes like say roadhouse or Vance and Hines cruzers w/ the baffles and packing left in.

You can also see if there is a retro fit quiet kit for your pipes.

I can't tell. Volume definitely affects my vision in daily life, that's why I am prolly putting the stock pipes back on. Cheaper than buying a Gold Wing.
