I found dropping them a little was the ticket. Pullback risers are the way to go though. It'll get the strain off your upper body and let you relax in the saddle by leaning back further. There are a million options for then too.
I got myself some PhatRiser II's and that helped A LOT!!! I got them while they were on sale for 105 bucks, but I think they are 135 bucks at www.scootworks.com. You could also get some riser spacers from Jim.
