I have a brand new Speedo magnet to put on my bike, but it will not go inside the housing. Yes it is the correct part. I have had to order it before. I broke one new one trying to get it installed because it wouldn't go in, so the dealership replaced it. Still, I cannot get it to go in... Any help would be absolutely amazing!

There's a small slider inside ,use a small flat scew driver to push it aside as you put the magnet in.

I have not seen this slider. Just the pacer that it slides over. It's like it's too wide or the sensor is too narrow. It just refuses to go down over it...

While I hate to ask obvious questions, they sometimes need to be asked.

Did you match the new part with the old part?

Are the stamped on part numbers the same?

While it sounds a bit harsh, I've had plenty of problems with getting the wrong parts (even from guys who are reputed to be quite good).

It's the exact same. I still have the box the magnet and seal came in the first time I had to fix it. I just grabbed the package out and typed in the part number.

Question, how easy/hard was it to remove the old rotor? I've got a used one I can not remove!!

Mine slid right out.
The new one needed a screw driver to push the tab back

Well, the broken one was a little hard to get out, but a little wiggling and it came right out.
