***Sigh***
Heavy traffic, grouchy mood, a-hole cagers, other unsafe riders, cops all over the place,
 my worst day ever ~ yesterday ~ could have been MUCH worse (knock on wood) ... somebody was riding with me & I'm not religious...
during an escort mission with PGR to Arlington National Cemetery~ I started to get a knot in my stomach - thought about it & should have broke off & went home at that point - but on the way home - in stop-n-go freeway traffic, hotter than sh#t, started really not feeling good - figured it was just heat...
pulled off on the next rest stop & got a $1.75 20oz bottle of almost cold water from their vending machine ~ tried to refill the bottle plus 2 others I had with me at the drinking fountain that didnt work
sat for a few minutes in the shade & then geared back up & continued on ... still hot, still stop-n-go ... apparently I blanked out a couple of times  but not for too long, & always still in my lane.
I decided to get off the interstate & got to a 7-11 just off the exit & got a huge bottle of Gatorade - stood in the shade under the "no loitering" sign & then proceeded around to the side of the building to dry heave a couple of times... :?
should have stopped then, but felt a little better as I cooled off ... called the wife & let her know where i was at. I went straight to my class (as it was closer than home & I had 30mins to sit in the break room to rest & see how I felt... )
barely made it thru to the first break in the class (about an hour in) called the wife & had her come pick me up - bike is still sitting (i hope) in the Univ. lot ~ I let security & admin know my situation & that it may be left there...
went straight to bed & called in sick today - slept all day, finally ate around 2pm ...
just can't stop thinking how stupid it was to continue on riding in my "condiditon"

dont know how I made it from Arlington to Stafford without winding up off the side of the road or lodged in someone's trunk.
turns out it was a stomach virus that the kids had recently (sure the heat didnt help either, tho) :?
