I had my pipes on debaffled and all but there where just too many scratches and dings. So I bought some brand new ones untouched and slapped them on. Now the I have a problem. My bike won't start. it tries and tries but nothing. I do have the carb jetted if that makes a difference.
Can someone give me an idea what's wrong?

First, welcome to the site!

Can't imagine just changing out the exhaust would affect anything but ya never know.
You didn't take the tank off (fuel line kinked)? Have you checked fuses?
Someone else will jump in here any minute now.

No I never took the tank off. I ended up calling a buddy who works on bikes. Turns out that because I jetted using a 155 main, it was way too rich with pipes that are original and having all that back pressure. I took them off and put on the old and waited a bit and bam it started. weird huh? oh well just a lesson learned.
