I haven't had any issues. How were you trying to connect? App? Web Browser? Which browser?
win7/win10 firefox
No issues here with Windows 10 on Lap Top.

Glad you're back on the air.
I've been having some issues as well. Windows 10/Windows 7/Firefox on both.

I click on a quote button and it doesn't always add the quote to the reply. On those pages I have to click on Multi-quote and then the Quote button to get the quote to display in the Quick Reply.

Then, if I make a mistake and submit a reply that needs to be edited, I click on the Edit button, but the edit window is empty, instead of having the reply text in it. I narrowed it down to some of the ADV links, looks like some are required in order to use the site. I haven't figured out which links yet, but there are way to many for ease of use.

I can never read pcdoctor's tiny blue font on my blue background so I never know what he's saying since it's such a struggle to read.

I always temporarily highlight text when posted in blue, or other color which blends with the background.
Makes it real easy to read.

I'll post a notice for the VS folks, directing them to this thread.
Might take a couple days for a reply, due to the week end upon us.
like to eliminate you too...morning Bob.
Ok, Beezer, ... here it is in black ... and bigger font.

Still the same, blue. If you look at the code you've got blue, size 3, on the outside of black, size 5, so the blue is overriding. Your last line came out in normal color.

It's not just him and it's not about glasses. Everyone reads the forum on different devices. I use Tapatalk in night mode and blue text on a black background is impossible to read. Sorry man, hate to break it to you.
Ive hard problems with the site starting to take longer to load on my phone. Anything I touch starts loading quickly but log jams at the end.

Thats odd. I changed it in the User CP to be black text and size 5 before posting.

This post I saw size 5 again. Changed to 4 in UserCP. On my notebook it still was at size 5 but now in black with a very light blue/grey background.

It doesn't look like the Quote post is using the defaults. I had to select all the text and resize it to the 4.

Maybe the default background should be white?

The default background is white, but that makes apps too bright, and on an OLED screen, uses more battery. I like my black look and will keep using it. ;)
Why can't your print just be normal? Chicks do that kind of stuff :p

I see pcdoc's font in black but it's still tiny though..
I had the same issues after I first returned after the password change debacle. Page would reload, quotes didn't work the first time but it did the second time. I just kept using it and now the app is ok for me to use but at one point I almost called it quits because it was just unfriendly.
I use my iPhone because on my Mac and PC I can't navigate well but I'm sure that's from using my phone so often. Phone is missing a few features like friend requests, likes, etc so I don't see any of that until I log in via a computer which is rare because I just don't like the interface.
Think we are getting reports of different problems in here now. I'll parse through what I can.

Connection Issues: @mdram, timeout issues is typically a result of poor connection. If that wasn't the case and you were only running into this issue on this site, then perhaps there was a bad cookie file interfering with the site loading properly, and perhaps it fixed itself when the cookie expired. Without a current problem, not much I can say for sure.

Quote Issues: can those with this issue clear cookies and cache and confirm what device and browser you are using? Not getting this problem on my end when testing.

Issues with using the site with mobile: if there are features missing that you think should be added, let us know. It's supposed to be more strealined then the full site, but we can always try and add more if possible.

What's normal?

Courier New
Arial
Times Roman
??

At work we use the "comic sans" font with a dull blue color, defined by our marketing group. Something about easily separating work text/emails in a visual manner from other organizations.

My choice of "blue" text/font was for the same reason. To be frank, the font or color I don't care about, ... If you have one that you think is "normal", which font would that be and I'll change to it. The font doesn't make a difference. The size, attributes and background does. And, defaults are not always optimal for all devices, PCs, phones, tablets, etc.

If it isn't readable no one will read it.
