Wonder how much they are if you pay for one now? Perhaps we could make a killing.:wayhappy:

They're taking orders now because it's going to take you 29 years to get the down payment saved up.

:moneyeyes:
:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh: that is true!

My decision on my next bike is that it is going to be a Dyna Switchback, so I guess that I am going to cop it when I do.:biglaugh: I will still stay on here though, you guys are fun and the Harley forums do not appear to be that very much from what I have seen.

Hey Ncoop; there is a Switchback forum; lots of good information on it. Not as big as the VR but a good forum dedicated to the Switchback.

My size, and age now, fits it perfectly.:wayhappy: Bought a superglide new back in mid 90's and really loved it, went to an Ultra and liked that as well but wish that I had not sold the superglide. Ah well.

In all seriousness if they weren't so ridiculously over priced in Oz I'd probably buy one.

I cringe everytime I watch US shows and they pay peanuts for second hand Harleys.
They are starting to become a bit more sensible now I think with S/H prices but you still see 5-15 year old ones advertised for just a few thousand less than a new one. Makes you wonder if they do not realise that the waiting list era has gone.:wayhappy: I had to wait for my superglide back then and choice of colour was whatever came.

This was quite a few years back, but a neighbour of mine bought a new Harley and had it shipped to Australia. Flew over and rode it around for two months. Sold it there before he left and profit paid for his vacation.
