Same part?

I have Corbin Beetle Bags on my 2008 Honda VTX 1800N. I took them off last summer because the lids wouldn't stay latched or locked. I finally decided to investigate tonight and learned quickly that a little WD-40 wasn't going to fix the problem.

I've reached out to Corbin to see if they sell replacement parts, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

What do you think? Does the part in the link look like the part in my picture?

Looks close enough to work.
Here's a key bit of info from the link: "The National Cycle Replacement lock has approximately a 1" diameter at the threads." I'd measure that on the one you have to be sure, but I'm guessing it will fit.

Yeah, it's "stuck" inside the cylinder. Cheap plastic parts. I think the spring that pushes it out broke.
