depends on what you are looking for. most use a pull back riser to bring the handle bars closer to you to get rid of upper shoulder pain.

Some people forego using risers and just rely on Cialis or Viagra. Aside from that, risers usually raise the bars and simultaneously bring it closer to the rider. Being a cruiser style motorcycle, we tend to sit back in the seat, unlike a sport bike where you lean forward, sometimes to a point of being prone on the gas tank. By sitting back on a cruiser, some of us do not have arms long enough to reach the handlebars comfortably, so we reach forward, wrench our backs, shoulder and arms holding on to the handlebars that are too far forward. The risers bring the handlebars to you much like fancy cars have the ability to reposition the steering wheel up or down and closer or farther from the driver.

Wish they made a power adjustment for the handlebars like a car.
