I noticed one of my lights on my light bar is out, anyone know what bulb that takes? its a national brand
Are you referring to the ''National Cycle'' light bar like this one...?

National Cycle Complete Chrome Light Bar- Suzuki C50 Boulevard (05 and newer)/ VL800 Intruder Volusia (01-04)

If so, you'll have to remove the bulb to match up a replacement. Someone else may know a part number and source.

If it is the Suzuki oem bar, you can replace the bulb and lenses with the 4411 as others have already said OR any of the following....

Suzuki part number 99950-70276-006
Honda part number 34901-MN1-671
Yamaha light bar bulb......... ABA-T1912-V3-0S

I believe that the Yamaha and Honda bulbs are less money than the Suzuki ones.....

and the Yami bulbs have lasted longer than the Suzi ones as well...

What is "the mod?"
Go to most auto parts store and ask for a 4411 sealed beam. They were used for tractor lights for years and years. Sealed beam. Small headlight. Full glass enclosed housing. Fits perfectly in the OEM light bar housing. Clip the pigtail off the current replacement bulb socket and wire it up the rear of the 4411. Remove the glass lens from the OEM light and replace with the 4411.

you have to separate the ring from the housing. screw driver blade should do it. ring is about 1/2" wide. If we are talking oem lights

napa usually has these available in my area...the northeast for under $10...last a long time. Some solder...some krimp...I krimp...if you krimp...krimp well...found that out when shortly after installing, light went out and left me using some choice 4 letter words about these lamps are worst than what i had in there...took apart the light and noticed the connection where i had krimped was poorly done...redid it correctly and bulb lasted a long time. Good luck if you go this route.

The Suzuki replacement bulb has been superseded to a new number: 990A0-72005-006 - physically looks a little different inside. Hope it lasts longer than the old style.
