Been busy with heavy stuff here at home lately, so I haven't checked in lately -- but, man, you're doing it right. Epic road trip. Keep wheelin'!

Hung out with friends in KC. Had me a time but not a lot of pictures.

Headed south from there following the warm weather to Bentonville, Arkansas. The Albert Blumfield highway in southern Missouri / northern Arkansas is one hell of a fun ride.

I did not plan it at all, but Bentonville is having a giant festival. ‘Bikes, Blues & BBQ’. Shit just works out sometimes

There are (or always used to were) VR people at that event. Pretty sure Jerry and Lori (BirdDog and Born2BeWild) were regulars.

Made Memphis from Bentonville. Man is Northern Arkansas a fun ride. So many good roads. The Pig’s Tail is outstanding.

If you make it out this way, highly recommend tearing up the Fayetteville area.

Memphis is a great town, but not the place to ride a motorcycle. Very unfriendly. 6 lanes of madness everywhere. That said the music and food are fantastic.

Trip is drawing to a close. I have a slim window to get back to Boston. A small break in weather both with temps and rain if i time it right. Time to go on a marathon run.

Made Bowling Green, KY minutes before a huge storm. Leg one complete.

tomorrow, some small ass Ohio town in the middle of nowhere, but 6.5 hours away.

Made Athens, OH. If you get a shot to run highway 68 in Kentucky, about 45 min south of Lexington, take it. Side of cliff switchbacks with hairpins all over. Hell of a ride.

Bowling Green is pretty damn nice too.

3 days from home. Tomorrow is gonna be a cold long bitch. Time to pay the piper.

It is if you take the interstate. I haven’t touched an interstate this whole trip. And holy shit am I happy I haven’t. Highway 50 in WV is one hell of a ride.

if I didn’t have to go home so fast I’d have turned around and did it again.
