Praying for you both, Nate. I'm so sorry this has been such a rollercoaster for you and your wife.

Stay on top of the Doctors. You have to use leverage sometimes, nothing wrong with that. Stay strong!

Ok.....Last couple days have been pretty uneventful. More testing, X-rays, and scans. She is resting well. Pain is much better. We have meetings with all the specialist today. Should have more information after that. Thanks again for all the thoughts, prayers, and understanding. Getting ready to head back to the hospital. See ya later gators.;)

Ok.... got her back from the Hospital this morning. Took me a while before I could type this. The bottom line is they still have no idea what caused or is causing this. Their best guess is still viral, but no proof of this. We have appointments set up with various specialist and she will be getting blood work weekly. Our insurance company finally pulled the plug on in hospital care, since they are getting no results. (Except for keeping her alive of course.) However they would still pay, if she was admitted through emergency again. (Near death again, of course.) ....Hopefully she will remain stable until we can get some additional testing run in clinic. I am at a loss for words, and am out of ideas. Your thoughts and prayers as always, are appreciated.

Nate, hopefully they get to the bottom of this soon. Her experience sounds very similar to a dear friend of mine. He's late 60s, healthy and active and had unexplained pneumonia last summer. Never in over 3 months of dealing with multiple hospital stays ever tested positive for COVID-19 or any other viral or bacterial pneumonia. They finally diagnosed him with COP or Crypto-organizing pneumonia. Which basically means, you have pneumonia, but we don't know what's causing it. He finally responded to steroid therapy and is fine now.

Maybe something you could mention to the doctors. Hope it helps.

Stay strong, buddy.

In fact, that is what she is being treated with right now. High dose steroids and oral antibiotics. She will be on this for the next 10 days, then has an appointment with a pulmonary specialist. She has not been diagnosed with COP.... I'll mention it to the pulmonary doc when she sees him. Thanks for the info!!!!

Thank you all for your Prayers, and your interest in my wifes well being. I'm kinda fond of her, (can you tell from my rants, lol?) and this means a lot to me. :)
