Well I took quite a bit of time fighting and fighting and trying to figure out why in the world I could not reply to a private message that somebody sent me. Turns out you have to have a certain number of posts before you are able to, therefore here I am posting! Thanks

To be honest, I had the same issue myself. Couldn't figure out why I couldn't respond to a PM and was going crazy. I'm not sure that any of the stickied threads or rules actually say anything about the 5 post minimum, which is what threw me off on this. Maybe that can be listed somewhere? If it is somewhere I must have missed it...

Yup, there sure is a sticky about this. It's the topmost item in the Noobie Questions section.

The VR staff regrets any inconvenience. We had to implement the "5 posts before sending a PM" rule to prevent a repeat infiltration by a spam-bot that got in and started blasting junky PMs to the membership.

Oof I feel dumb for missing that one :grin2:. I checked the general information board and must have totally spaced out looking past that one. Totally understand trying to avoid the bot spam though so no worries.

No worries. We all miss things that are right in front of our face from time to time. Let he who is without sin, and all that.
