2001 vl800.

I'm finally putting my engine back together after 7 months. I know about the oil jet for each cylinder. What about the one inside the crankcase? For some crazy reason I can't tell where it goes. Can anyone give me some help?

The oil pump is located at the lower RIGHT side of the engine, to the rear of the clutch basket. It uses a chain that is driven by the crankshaft to pump the oil to the upper cylinder. As far as I know, there is no other pump in the engine.

Yep, I know about the oil pump. What I'm trying to find a spot for is the oil restrictor (jet) inside the crankcase. I don't see a place outside other than the 2 up on the top which control oil flow to camshafts. My Haynes manual makes no mention of where the one in question goes or what it feeds oil to

Found a home for it. It restricts oil to the bevel gears in drive output housing
