Hey all I am new to VL800 and just bought my first and MAN I love this bike. I have a 2002 vl800 with 18inch bars, heated hand grips, bolavard windshield, the bolavard front lights, I belive after market crash bars, a big ASS comfy seat and some big ass foot boards that I love. My wife and daughter can't get enough the kid wants to ride everywhere. Her and the wife would love some arm rests if anyone has any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it them. Thanks all.

Finding something to fit the sissybar is going to be a challenge. If you had a factory backrest, then you would be able to order something to fit the factory bolt pattern. But since it is equipped with unknown aftermarket, the likelihood of finding a bolt on option is slim. Anything you look for is going to require some fabrication.

Thank you so much Skrapiron. I was wondering about that but I guess This will give me a reason to spend a day with my bike and my garage. Man I just don't know if I can do that.I am sure it will be a struggle but I will make it.;)

Greetings from Arizona (for now)! Welcome and nice ride. Volusias are easy to love. They are a great bike.

Arm rests are going to be a challenge for you, for sure. Might be easier just to replace the passenger seat with something that comes with arm rests, but that has its own set of challenges. I'd look for a custom fabricator in your area and see what they say. Either way it's not gonna be cheap and you shouldn't expect it to be if people are leaning on them while riding.

Welcome from upstate NY. There is a universal armrest on the big bike things site that you could probably make fit. Ride safe and have fun, use the search bar and for God's sake dont ask about what oil to put in your bike lol
