There's a lot of great riding in the southern New Hampshire area, I found a great place in Henniker, NH with all the Rally accommodations (including a firepit with endless wood to burn). Jeff (Mr Johnny) and I would be hosting the Rally, which is in southern NH about 40 miles up from the Mass boarder, next to the Pats Peak Ski area. Down the hill is the Interval Farm Pancake House for breakfast, up the hill is The Sled Pub at Pats Peak for dinners as well as many local restaurants (Sonny’s Main Street Restaurant, Country Spirit Restaurant, Dimitris Pizza) Local markets & stores (New Harvester Market, Henniker Farm & Country Store, On the Run Convenience Store, Dollar General, Blackbird Market & Deli). Also, the All In One Market is a mile up on Route 114 with 500 different beers to pick from, and the Henniker Brewing Company.

Below are the prices negotiated with the owner Tim.

• Thursday Night one queen bed $129 & two queen beds $149
• Friday Night one queen bed $149 & two queen beds $169
• Saturday Night one queen bed $149 & two queen beds $169

Credit card required for a booking a room, but no money will be charged until arrival.
Cancellation Policy: No penalty if the cancellation is 2 weeks prior to arrival date.
Otherwise, one night room and tax for canceling with less time than that.
Call to make reservation ask for Tim (owner) tell him you’re with the Volusiariders.

Okay, so I tried to book for this, but the person (Tina?) who answered the phone said Tim was away and instructed me to book on-line. She also said that she had similarly instructed three other VR people who called today (Wednesday).

Turns out that the on-line booking app shows no availability at all in September 2023.

I just talked to Tim, everyone when booking call the hotel, do not try to book online, Tim blocked the entire hotel for us that weekend. Let Tina know your with the Volusia Riders for the Motorcycle Rally Sept 21-24 2022. Tim is talking to Tina so she understands all of this.

Pffft. Half the group hasn’t reserved rooms yet for the Yankee Rally, and it’s less than 3 months away.

Be nice if people would pay some attention to this stuff. It would facilitate planning to know how many folks will be there. But oh well.
