I respectfully disagree with you, Dave, that the CTX700 handles like a scooter. It handles like the motorcycle it is, which is why I prefer it to a super-scooter like the Burgman 400 and Burgman 650 I used to ride.

With the ability to use the paddle-shifter to override the DCT transmission's gear choices when I wish, I get the best of both worlds -- convenience as well as control. And it is a very good-handling machine.
I didn't describe it right. When I said it's like a scooter. The center of gravity of that Honda is very low like a scooter. It takes nothing to pick it up off the side stand. It's very easy to handle. The DCT makes things really simple. Not likely to misjudge, stall and fall, like can happen with a clutch. I'm looking forward to taking Pebbles bike for a scoot if we can safely visit them this year without having to quarantine and such.

Bikes can be replaced, people cannot. Glad to hear that you're okay.
It wasn't your time to go. Let's hope that time is a long way off.
