has anyone tried

to fit a lower leg fairing [ normally]only available for harleys
just wondering if with a bit of fettling i could get them to fit on my crash bars
any help on this please contact me

I'm not aware or any plastic crash bar fairings that will fit the VL800, but folks have been using leather/vinyl bar chaps for about as long as these bikes have existed. The pros being, it will help deflect the weather and keep your legs and feet warmer in cooler temperatures. The cons being they are effectively giant sails which will dramatically decrease your fuel economy.
