You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.

I am not aware of any way to actually delete your account. You can just log out and walk away, but the account and all comments will remain.

Currently, as DC previously stated, we have only spam-clean/ban/delete available....and that is not for separating a member in good standing.
Using those functions can harm an internet participant's good reputation (IP), hence, it is best to simply let it go.
