Okay, I have an 04 VOL Limited and I took off the tank and all to do the Jetting. I pulled the carb up and all the sudden, there was a "clearish/yellow" hose that just came out of the frame and is attached to the carb. If the carb is on the bike, this hose points forward, but I have no idea what it is? Is it a vent line or something? There was some spillage of gas when I took the carb off and some got on this hose, or looked like it came out of the hose. The loose end is cut on a 45* angle too. Where does this go? I will not put it back together until I know what I have done wrong. PLEASE HELP!!!

That is the gas overflow tube off the carb. one ind on the carb the other end goes in a hole in the frame.

Where is this hole in the frame located? Is it the one right behind the forks that is above the ignition?

Yes if I remember right. It has been quite a while since I had the bike apart that far. I think the last time I just let that hose hang down between the jugs.

The downtube of the frame on the right side behind the neck covers, close to the key hole.
