Was feeling a bit stir crazy yesterday, and decided I'd take a ride today.
Just be aware.
The weatherman lies!

Passed a few flip-flop, tank top, shorts and no helmet guys today, and felt briefly envious.

I wanted to get a throttle boss for the Bully.
Our Suzuki dealer moved on a long time ago, so I stopped at HD, they didn't have the style I like, so I drove to the Indian dealer.
Gone. Packed up. No sign they were ever there.

I had a brief thought about maybe taking a test drive since I was going there.
So much for that.

They had a used Blue Injun at the HD.
20,000 miles, at $20k.
I'll bet those bastards only gave the guy 5 on trade.
I won't deal with those thieves ever again.

High 80's to low 90's here. It's good weather for a ride this weekend.

about it being too hot
What kind of throttle boss are you looking for ? My affordable Indian came with them, so I don't need theone off my Bully. It's the black curved paddle looking one.

The one that came on my Vic is an older style Kuryakyn.
It's rubber.
They've changed it.
I saw their newer one yesterday at HD, and wasn't impressed.
I really don't want hard plastic.

Thanks for the offer.

I will make quick trips in shorts/t-shirt/no helmet... but riding in flip flops? Thats where I'm drawing the line.
I haven't even started mine in a month, I don't mind the heat, actually 100-110 and dry is my ideal temp, but the dam humidity gets me.
It's already Labor Day and subtly things are changing, soon enough I'll be complaining its too cold.

When it gets down into the teens, even I tap out for it being too cold. Somewhere between 32-80 is perfect riding weather for me. Above that I'm thinking air conditioning and below that I'm thinking heater.

It's not too hot riding here in Alabama (we's in the deep South ya knows). It's really hot when ya stop, however. Shoes melt to the pavement.

I see a lot of flip flops and shorts by me. At least in NJ they make you wear a helmet. I hope they never dump their bike.
