iPad never has new posts

Ken, I use my iPad on this site all the time, but I always start, or refresh the "Active Topics" link at the top of the page. I pick up new posts that way. If I am on a topic when I switch from one app to the VR Forum what comes up is the posts that were there when I switched to another app and no new posts that may have occurred when I left the site. Similarly, if I am viewing the posts on a topic and a new post is made while I'm on that topic it won't show up unless I refresh the "Active Topics" where the new post will then show up. Don't know if this helps, but it seems to work for me.

Thanks, Jim. But I can't find an "Active Topics" on the mobile app. Can you post a screen shot of the menu?

Ken, try logging in through the Safari browser instead of the Motorcycle.com app, and check save log in so you don't have to re-enter your name and password each time you come back. At the top of the screen you should see all the choices under the VR pic, including "ACTIVE TOPICS" along with "HOME" "FORUMS" "NEW POSTS", etc. See if that makes a difference.

When you're logged into the forum on the app there should be 3 lines in the top left corner that open up a menu. In there if you select unread posts it should show you all the active and new topics on the forum.

When I do that, it never shows any unread posts. It will work on my iphone, but not the ipad. :?

Hi, are you checking your iPhone before you go on the iPad? Maybe they aren't coming up as new because you viewed them on your iphone first? Try logging out of the iPhone, then see if new posts show up on the iPad.

Hope thats not confusing.
