hi guys

I have Suzuki Boulevard m109r model 2007 with Hard Krome 3inch big straights (Old model which comes bit taller that the new ones)

I can't find any baffles or exhaust which can quite it and searched all over the internet.. any recommendations?

BTW I checked the Hard Kore baffles which they have now for my Big straights but it will not fit (Due to taller exhaust because of older model)

thanks

Faisal

Hello Faisal.
Welcome to the Volusia Riders Forum.

From what I've seen and heard, Big Straight pipes are just about the loudest pipes on the aftermarket.
I'm not convinced that any add-on small muffler or baffle will really quiet the noise those pipes produce.
If You would truly like to quiet Your M109, re-install Your factory exhaust, if You have it, or try to find a set of factory pipes on the used market.

I'm certain that a few other members will chime in here, and may have the information which You are seeking.

I wanted to say yesterday to change your pipes but didn't want to sound too harsh. The only loud pipes that sound good are on Harleys IMHO.

Hope this helps :)

check with Gary at G-Man industries they have a lot of stuff specific to your bike. otherwise see if you can get a set of lollipops custom made by a local machinest

if you really want to stop the bark of loud pipes...i recommend the use of commercial steel wool pads...i bought some from EBAY to use on my C50 and it was remarkable how quite it was...you pull the pads apart to get it bigger some it does not pack in the exhaust pipe...i put a long screw through the head of the pipe and through the stainless steel wool...the stainless steel wool pads are large and i only needed one for both of my pipes...for your 3" pipes you may want one pad for each pipe...i hope this helps your noise problem

I got tired of the noise from my Cobra True Duals on my Nomad, so I installed a pair of these into the rear of the baffles. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000GZJ1QS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They quieted the pipes to just a bit louder than stock (I did drill a couple small holes in them as well) and the bike seems to run better than it has in quite some time. I still have the advantage of larger headpipes, but they much better sounding in my opinion.
