I wasn't sure where to post this or even if everyone already knows and I'm the last, but I went to Wal-Mart this morning and found a Campbell Hausfeld 12 Volt Inflator with Vacuum Cleaner, model no. RP6000. It plugs into a 12 volt outlet, like a cig lighter, and inflates tires and has a portable vac for your car or truck. I haven't tried the vac yet but it did inflate my front tire from 25 to 29 lbs. in a minute or two. Seems kind of handy and only costs $18.88. Much cheaper than a full size compressor. Anyone else tried one?

I had one of those at one time. It had a little cubby hole to store the hose when not in use. After time, the hose started to get little cracks in it. I guess fronm being coiled so tight to get it in there. Something to watch for. I eventually got a big one when I discovered all the air toys errr tools one can get :shock:

I've found I can raise the pressure by the same amount in less time using the same little foot pump I use for my bicycle..

Tell me about it, I got a 30 gal last year and I'm still buying goodies for it. I just got a rotary tool for it.

If you wnt it for the vacc ap, then good, but for pumping, on the pick-up and the bike I have a little foot pumpthat works much faster.

Those little air compressors are very handy for when you can't use a regular one. They work fine, just not very fast. I keep one in my car for emergencies.
