I was blonde for a day...it's Harley's fault

This should give a few of you a laugh...
I needed to run the gas low in Dave's HD for it to be transported. Go to start it, it won't start. Spent way too much time looking for the "shortcut" terminal to jump it so I don't have to take the seat off. Finally found it, but can't get the clamp in the space to jump it. OK, I'll take the seat off 3 minutes later the battery is exposed. Hook up the jump box, hit the starter...nothing. (and yes the kill switch was in the proper position, what do you think I am, blonde ? ) Nothing is working, no lights, no fuel pump, nada. Take the battery to auto store. Yep, battery's fully charged, has plenty of cranking amps...well sh*t ! Bring it home, reinstall, bang on the starter, even changed the battery in the fob. Nothing !
Here's where it's Harley's fault...they have this chrome knob on a chrome "dash" that you have to turn to "ignition" !!! before it will start. Turn that sucker & lights come on, fuel pump kicks in & after a few tries it fires up ! Jeeze, I am NOT that dumb !!! I just had it started a few weeks ago, so it's not like I haven't started it before. Totally, TOTALLY Blonde day for me !!!
Yes, now you can all stop laughing & go about your day I'll be here all week.
