This entire thread is one of the funniest things I've seen in awhile. You guys crack jokes at each other like family. Love it.
Just watch out for the monkey and you'll be fine. He's been cranky since his wife put him on a diet.

He's going to have to get a cover-up on the "Wet Head for Life" tat.

Get any tatts yet Bill?
I was a 17 year old paratrooper... I’ve had ink for 40 years :). I was all about regs. You cant see my tats below a t-shirt sleeve :)

That was last weekend.
Indeed... this is just another boulevard cruise for me. I don’t need to shave for work anymore and don’t need a helmet if the rona is going to kill me anyway

There is a disturbing trend of people shedding harleys like fur. At the prices they sell, I can’t control myself. I do want an xr1200, when one pops up for $3000...

I do have fun with the Harley, with the caveat that the engine, suspension, forks, seat and ignition aren’t really Harley Davidson’s :).

By the way my proble was solved by resetting my fly by wire throttle :)

Aaaand it’s confession time... yes, the Harley went to the shop and the problem was something I did :). When I replaced the battery the bolts for the replacement were a bit too long and the contact wasn’t perfect...

Why didn't you use the old hardware instead of shorting out to the frame and burning up all the electrical?
That's why motorcycle work is best left to the professionals.
Most Harley failures are caused by backyard mechanics such as yourself.
