How to make photobucket pics magically reappear!

There are now two browser add ons that will defeat the Photobucket limitations on pictures, one for Chrome and one for Firefox. I know for a fact the Firefox add on works. I haven't tested the one for chrome.

Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-fixer/ogipgokcopooepeipngiikdkpmcpkaon

Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/photobucket-fixer/

Just follow the instructions in the linked web sites to install on your browser.

That's all fine and dandy, except I DL'd all my pics, and 86'd my account.
Screw them.
But if it makes it work for other people's past posts, that's excellent!

Good info. I'm not really interested in adding a plugin to view the pics that they're holding hostage. I'm kind of with Joe on this one, but thanks for the tip anyways.
More info needed, if it can make other peoples previously posted forum pictures visible again I'd be interested, but if it only helps make my own pictures visible or able to post my own pictures then it really doesn't have any interest for me.

It makes other peoples pictures linked to Photobucket appear, that's actually what the add on is for. For instance all pictures in this http://www.volusiariders.com/58-mot...guide-adjusting-your-valves-101-pics-vid.html valve adjustment thread are visible again.

I added the Chrome plug-in. Yep, it restores the ability to see these images again.

Nice find, Dean! Thank you for sharing.

Before you install a Chrome or Firefox extension, remember that they can be just as dangerous as a virus or malware, so be careful. Here's an example for you:

https://m.slashdot.org/story/331625

SafeBrowse, a Chrome extension with more than 140,000 users, contains an embedded JavaScript library in the extension's code that mines for the Monero cryptocurrency using users' computers and without getting their consent. The additional code drives CPU usage through the roof, making users' computers sluggish and hard to use.

Thanks for posting this and helping out the community. We found the same plugins as well and try and help provide them when we can.
