It depends on what color you are painting. This is what I used for saddlebags and tail trunk Pearl White. Qt of Base White, Qt of Pearl, Qt of Clear Coat plus hardener. This came pre mixed with the reducer. Hopefully someone will chime in.

04 le from color-rite.com

I got my paint from www.autobodysupply.net You have to use an Auto paint code. I went to a Suzuki car dealer and matched my bike to a Pearl White car and used the cars paint code when I ordered the paint. It was cheaper than Color Rite.

Painted a small car two years ago.
It was a lot of work even with help.
I'm pretty sure an auto paint supply house can estimate for you.

I know a HVLP gun uses less paint.
You can reduce acrylic with clearcoat.
I think it's about 10:1 or so (best to ask an expert)

What kind of fairing do you have?

 One quart will be sufficient with some left over for touch up. Only mix what you need and do not catalyze the entire amount ( it will harden in the can in a few days!). Use a primer that matches your top coat the best (i.e. light colored primer for light color and vice versa). I use a HVLP gun and can stretch a quart of paint a long way.
