Help set up notifications, please

I am not getting any notifications to my email whenever someone adds to my post or replies to me.

To be more precise: when I am logged in to the site, I get notifications but if I am away from my comp I never receive a notification.

Where to turn them on?

Go to your "user control panel" or "user CP" in the header above the forum list.

Under the " settings and options" section we will find a choice that says "edit options".

That contains The ability to receive emails under different circumstances. Select the circumstances under which you wish to be notified and save your settings before you leave.
