Like Skrapiron said the Petcock is vacuum operated. I had to sort out a vacuum leak in my 04 and it wouldn’t fire. Being carbureted, I decided to give it a shot of ether to help it out. Fired right up and went to working like normal. Anytime I pull the tank I have to give it a little help the first time I fire it back up.
