2004 Volusia 805 had secondary air vacuum go out. Replaced, however bike will not start. What did I miss?

What exactly did you replace? Did you check the lines for leaks?

The petcock for this model is vacuum operated. It is common to plug the wrong vacuum line into the wrong port, which will cause a no start condition. Here's a link to the proper hose routing.

Like Skrapiron said the Petcock is vacuum operated. I had to sort out a vacuum leak in my 04 and it wouldn’t fire. Being carbureted, I decided to give it a shot of ether to help it out. Fired right up and went to working like normal. Anytime I pull the tank I have to give it a little help the first time I fire it back up.
