I have a 2003 Suzuki volusia and it doesn't have hazard lights however I see the the c50s do. Could the switch from the c50 be installed plug and play without wire splicing or any other custom work? Like just plug and play and add the hazard light functionality

No. The Hazard switch is wired in parallel with the turn signal switch. Your bike would need to have connections (wires) from the turn signal switch to the hazard switch, which I doubt that it does.

On my 06 M50 the turn signal switch is on the left and the hazard switch on the right. The hazard switch is wired in parallel with the turn signal switch and basically turns left and right turn signals on simultaneously. So there must be wired connections from one side to the other on the bike.

I had assumed that the C50 is the same, but maybe that is not a valid assumption. If the hazard switch is on the left it could possibly work.
