The reply magnet on this post seems to be working just fine, the thread diversifying like the Mekong delta in usual fashion :biglaugh: I'm one of probably many who don't post much anymore but I keep looking in from time to time - I think the prompt in the email box is definitely a useful tool to keep people attached to VR. There are so many forms of social media these days it seems to get harder to keep people cyber-congregating on a more traditional platform. I'll admit to being somewhat of a Luddite (Google it if you don't know) and I don't do fbook-twitter-instagram-im-linkdin-etc so I remain an isolated old f#rt because as we all know email, sms, mms, voice calls, and actual handwritten letters just don't work anymore and have been banned by the Grand Council of the Galactic Alliance three millenniums ago. Mind you the peace and quiet just can't be beat :biglaugh:
So I ride my girl's bike quite happily (C50) now into its 11th year with me. I think my best reason for riding a motorcycle as I near 70 is that its too painful to walk. C50 and myself have benefited greatly from association with VR, it was the dreaded drive shaft spline disease that led me here in the first place, and got me onto DJ drives. BEST MOD EVER!
The motorcycles that I've ever had the most fun with were - any of the ones with two wheels. A couple of them I put a third wheel on and I really think I get 50% more fun out of them - in a demented asymmetric kind of way. I guess sidecar lovers are kind of "different".
The bottom line to all the horses gastric wind above is, Just sticking my head in to say hi all, glad you're here to keep the forum going, enjoy your rides :smile2:
