We took the first lunch ride on the K1600. About 200 km, in all. It's difficult in my poor English to express how the bike handles. First on the motorway at 120+ kmph, then on a local road, and finally on the streets along the beach. Completly new to me, but easier than the Vol. No vibration at all. Nowhere on the bike: pegs, handlebars, seat. The noise is more like from a turbine than cylinders...

The place is callled Santa Pola and used to be known for the fishing harbour and the sea food and fish they lived on, but now beaches and tourists displaced the business... Not a fishing boat out of ten survived...
