The parts book list 2 rear wheel spacers #64772-34201 and #09180-17092 which spacer is correct for the 1500 swap? All the post say take 2mm of the axle spacer and I don't want to use my original vl800 OE spacer. Also it is stated here on VR that the length needs to be 2 7/8 long, but if you take the length of part#09180-17092 and subtract 2mm it is longer than the 2 7/8,that makes it 3.07 long. Any help would be great, thanks.

If that part no is for the VL1500/C90 axle, that would explain why it is too long and the inside diameter would be larger than the C50/VL800 axle.

Aric just uses a piece of DOM tubing of proper O.D/I.D cut to 2 7/8 and it works fine.

Partzilla shows 2 sleeves or spacers on the the vl800 diagram. I'm not for sure which to order because they only give the spec for one of the spacers and that's the 09180-17092. I have the specs to use the DOM tubing and could go that route, but was hoping to save some time and money by just having the machinist mill an OE vl800 down to the 2 7/8.

And yes, a VS1400 drive has the same axle diameter as C50/VL800.

The axle hole on C90/VL1500 final drive is larger than C50/VL800, requiring you to install a bushing to accept the smaller axle.

The spacer is very hard, you will need a carbide cutter if your turning it down on a lathe.
I can sell you a modified spacer in any length you want. PM me if interested.
