I have to ask..
I'm seriously thinking of debaffling my bike and want to know if anyone has had any problems with their C-50 with FI after removing the baffles and possibly mickey. :?: :?:

From what I've read. The fuel processor will compensate for small changes.
Debaffleing is a small change in back pressure.
Changing the air cleaner to a high flow is consider big change. Then you should need a new computer.
I have an 04 which is carbed. Debaffled and DeMickeyed. No problem.
I'm thinking of removing the last baffle and rejetting this winter.

I have an '05 C50 and removed the end plates, baffles, mickey and last plate. My stock pipes are empty stem to stern and it runs perfect.

I debaffled myC-50 several months ago, no problems. I have been told that if you do run funny, you can disconnect the battery for 30 seconds. That will reset the FI and clear it up.

Yes. The battery disconnect resets the computer. Reconnect and start without twisting the throttle and you are good to go.

debaffled

I just did mine on Saturday, sounds like a bike now, disconnected the battery. Runs fine, but next spring I am going to add a PC and K&N filter.

My bike was running rich from the factory (FYI)

Still seems rich so I would assume the FI adjusted.
