I just shinned a light in my tank and the gas looks pretty brown. Should I be concerned? (no it is not old gas or an old bike)

(I appologize if this has been discussed before, I searched the threads but I am not going through 100+ pages)

Good thing you didn't light a match to look in your tank.

Hard to say,
Poor quality gas has water in it usually.

To compare, when I fill the fuel always looks clear or slightly amber in color down in the tank..

Is the bike running OK? If not, I'd pull the tank off check it for corrosion and refill it with fresh fuel.
If you see any corrosion there are products out there to cure the problem; Cream, Kream or a name like that.

well i was looking in the tank bc i was low on gas and I wanted to see how much 1 bar meant on the fuel meter. What do you think if I let her run out of gas? would that cause more harm than good? Is it easy to pull the tank?
