I'm borrowing an idea that Sister Mooo had over on Facebook. She started a page encouraging people to post a photo per day of something pleasant, interesting, pretty, etc., to keep the quarantine blues away.

I thought it might be nice to start a similar thing here on the VR, featuring bike pictures! Bikes you own or have owned, rides you've taken, rides you want to take, photos of mods you've done or want to do, and so on.

I'll go first.

This is from 2015, when BearBait, Beezer, Free2BeMe, and I went to West Virginia for the week to hang out together and ride.

would make a great venue for a OctVRFest with all the colors...would never find a place with enough available rooms that time of year tho...then again...if memory serves correct, may only need 6 or so rooms...had some great OFests in Pa in the past...maybe next year try again.

Fest at State College was our first and seemed good to me. The emptied cooler was the only bummer. Good thing liquor store was right thru the hotel.

On the Triumph I had nothing to lose. I had it picked up and delivered to the shop. They told me It was going to be a lot just to tear into it and see if it can be fixed so I had them drop it back off. The cam cap screw head sheared off and ground through all the lobes and shims until it was smooth and finally got stuck. I have the shop manual and with much help from guys on the Triumph RAT board pulled it apart and sent the head to a local speed shop and had it “something”. It needed all 6 exhaust valves replaced since the tips were bent. All in was about $600.

Hockey is on. So far no one allowed in the locker rooms. Temp checks, questionnaires and contact info done outside before entering. Fully dressed at home except skates. Masks required inside but optional for players on the ice. Staff wears masks. Assigned chairs 6 ft apart for players to put on skates all around the halls and lobby. Keep distance on the ice during training. Thats how all the training is going so far. We‘ll see how it all works out.
